Trained (engineering degree: 'ing') and working in the University of Groningen in the Netherlands as a scientific programmer, writer, and researcher concerned with artificial intelligence, process modeling, interaction modeling, software-architecture, -development, and simulation.

Graduated as Master of Arts in Editorial Design at the HKU in Utrecht (also Netherlands) with distinction. Largely concerned with Internet communication, branding, identity, privacy, and the Cloud (Internet information-knowledge conversion).

Displayed on this forum are largely the illustrations I do in my spare-time (which has been very little the last couple of years). Sometimes there are sketches for book illustrations, character concepts, post-cards, etc.

I train by watching tutorials, rapid prototyping, and of course a lot experimentation with mainly digital media.
